My name is William, and I’m the founder of this trading blog. I’m not a professional trader, nor do I claim to be a guru. I’m just a regular guy who’s passionate about trading and determined to achieve financial freedom.
I’ve been trading for a while now, but my journey has been far from smooth. I’ve had my fair share of wins and losses, and I’ve learned some hard lessons along the way. One of the most significant lessons I learned was during the GME options frenzy, where I won a substantial amount of money, only to lose it all and more. It was a tough pill to swallow, but it taught me the importance of discipline and sticking to a solid trading strategy.
That’s why I started this blog. I want to hold myself accountable and force myself to stay on track. I’m committed to sharing my trading journey with you, the ups and downs, the wins and losses, and everything in between. My goal is to go from being broke to becoming a breakout trader, and I invite you to join me on this journey.
Why I’m doing this
For me, trading is more than just a hobby or a way to make money. It’s a passion that drives me, and it’s something that I enjoy doing every day. However, I’ve realized that without a clear plan and discipline, it’s easy to get sidetracked and lose focus. That’s why I’m using this blog as a way to keep myself honest and ensure that I stick to my trading strategy.
My strategy is simple: I’m focused on taking it “slow”, being patient, and avoiding get-rich-quick schemes. I’m not interested in using options or leverage, as I’ve learned that these can be a recipe for disaster. I will do breakout trades and use the time-tested strategy of William O’Neil. I will go into this further in a specific post.
